As a senior graduating in May, I hoped to grasp every opportunity of experiencing life in the Big Apple. Though I saw many sites on my first journey to New York, the only thing I wanted to see more of was NBC studios. I am a diehard fan of 30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Recreation, etc and none of my friends seem to share this passion. I took the NBC studio tour and fell in love with the atmosphere. I stalked the pages and asked them countless questions about their experiences. It was after this that I knew my calling. John D. Rockefeller once said, “If you want to succeed you should strike out on new paths, rather than travel the worn paths of accepted success.” Working for this company is the path to my future and a path to understanding the ins and outs of television. I have always been an outgoing, vivacious person and I have finally found my aspiration: I want, neigh, NEED to work for NBC and their page program.
I’ve applied to the East Internship and Page Program in NYC and now all I can do is wait!

It was fun going along with you and watching your face light up. I could really tell that NBC was where your passions lie. You will get there someday, I know it. NBC doesn’t know what is coming for them!
